Do you have any advice for people that are afraid to ask for a higher salary or negotiate a better offer? You can always make an argument about inflation to fight for a higher salary. Work with a negotiation coach or get insights from a friend/acquaintance on the recruiter side of things who can give you insights and trends about what is an actual fair compensation band for your level of experience and the stage of company you are applying to. You can always ask for more.

Do you have any advice on how to advocate for yourself to get a raise and/or promotion at their company? Keep a detailed record of all your outputs and outcomes you create at the company. Frame them in regards to impact to the business and impact to the customers. Make them measurable as much as possible. Also screenshot all of the shoutouts you get to support your contributions and culture building.
