How long have you been in tech? 4-5 years

What made you decide to switch to a career in tech?

Technology has always been a part of my life. Growing up during the dot com boom I got to witness how technology started to become a part of every day life. The world went from having home computers to now having mini computers in the palm of their hands (thanks Apple). I was fascinated by it all and wanted to immerse myself in the industry... especially social media and social technologies.

What advice do you have for people that want to get into tech sales?

Be coachable. You will stumble, you will get rejected, and you will inevitably get better! Resilience is key.

Do you feel represented in Tech?

I think the tech industry is starting to become more diverse. I appreciate the Filipinx community so much because it helps me feel more represented in tech.

Do you feel supported by the Filipinx community?

Yes, I love the Filipinx community. I just started learning how to make national dishes. My go to right now is Chicken Adobo.

What inspired you to become a life coach?

I am passionate about personal development and love helping people reach their full potential.

What advice do you have for anyone looking to break into tech?

Network with others who you know are in the tech industry. Be curious about what they do. In tech there is a position for everyone. You don't need to know how to code in order to be successful in tech!
